Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cellular Pet Salon In San Jose
Rachel Murphy is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound Toto had last weekend. Rachel says that a hairdresser taped Toto r's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Toto r became bloody and upset.
Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I originally thought was an actual muzzle, turned out to actually be tape. Toto r's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Toto r biting.
Wow! My Dog - a mobile salon for pets - employed the groomer to perform these actions.
Rachel rushed Toto to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. Rachel has accused Wow! My Dog of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.
Rachel described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." These cuts were so bad that they bled."
Marianna De las Vegas posted on Yelp a review about how Wow! My Dog returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.
Bad Review
Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel revealed, "Juliann informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming animal abuse demographics that they were investigating allegations. When asked about Wow! My Dog, the woman quickly stated that it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
